Wrong Reg on PCN

One of our drivers received a PCN from TFL for 'Stopping where prohibited".
The registration number of the vehicle on the PCN is incorrect, they've put an 8 instead of a 7.
Is this grounds for them to cancel the ticket if I appeal? Do they have to ensure they have the vehicle details correct?

Yes it is. With the wrong registration it renders the PCN invalid. Pop across to www.pepipoo.com and they will con firm it, just make sure you post in the council parking tickets section of the forum."You should know not to believe everything in media & polls by now !"
