Virgin Media customers - new phishing email

Just received a phishing mail asking me to send a copy of my passport/driving licence plus a bank statement (!) to Virgin Media in order to activate my "Online Profile".
Use of language is pretty good and the fax number they give is an 08000 number cunningly disguised as an 0800 number.
Beware (as always)...

Hi if you have responded to these emails and faxed drivers license and utility bill what can actually happen? i never queried this at all since I had just put my 2 childrens laptops onto Virginmedia a couple of days before so thought it was s usual response.:eek:0
