Hi
does anyone know where I can get small screw energy saving lightbulbs in the candle style? Cos I've not seen them anywhere.
Also do you know of any energy saving bulbs that don't take ages to light up? Because I have one on my landing that takes ages to get bright enough so you can see where you are going, and when you need the loo, those seconds are precious
Thanks in advance

wilkos do them.... this i found out after paying 4x as much at tesco.
i don't know about the rapidity of brightness on the wilko ones, but can tell you the more expensive tesco ones aren't any better than others.TOP MONEYSAVING TIP
Make your own Pot Noodles using a flower pot, sawdust and some old shoe laces. Pour in boiling water, stir then allow to stand for two minutes before taking one mouthful, and throwing away. Just like the real thing!0 -

Try http://www.ricamstore.co.uk
I've used them several times, my last purchase being mini/compact candle bulbs.
You have to be carefull with low energy candle bulbs as often they are longer than their incandescant counterparts, and stick too far out of light fittings.0 -
I bought two in Tesco today and at the moment they'll give you double Tesco points on anything eco.0
