I didn't get the opportunity to delcare the savings, and I didn't know I needed to.

The only time I did was when I was asked if I had savings, I said roughly 14,000, and then the man moved onto the next question !

You seem to be forgetting the forms you signed when you were claiming JSA.

The form doesn't say anything about it, or even how to declare savings.

How am I supposed to declare it ? and to who ?

Was I supposed to tick a box somewhere ?? I doubt this whole argument comes down to such a little detail.

Over the telephone interview to check if I qualify, I was asked, and I told him 13 to 15 thousand.

Oh yes it does - there's a whole thread on here which hinges on exactly that point.

  • Okay, well if there is a box you had to tick on some form, I must have missed it , if it was even there anyway.
  • Does anyone have a copy of the JSA form you have to complete and what box I should have ticked ?
