I have a long list of saved words for google to pick up on and I have even raised my pay per click up to 24p!! anything to try and get to the top of the tree...
Any help I would be most greatful for.

To be honest you are much better getting to the top of the natural search listings than paying to appear in the sponsored section
Do some SEO on your site an I'm sure your rankings will improve0 -
Sorry but I disagree..sure search engine high listings are great but to get anywhere near the first few pages which people look at is a long winded and expensive process. I have many websites and only use adwords. However TBH dependant on your key words or phrases 24p isn't a great amount per keyword or phrase. Most of mine cost a minimum of 50p and some go to £1.10 but I get a return of approximately 10% on every click through (with a conversion of about 1 in 54 at present!)0

I agree with myself and the above post :rotfl:
Seriously though getting up the "natural" search listings needn't cost the earth. I've done it with my website and its all written, updated and optimised by me and me only.
Also making your site search engine friendly also goes hand in hand with making your site accessible to those with disabilities. Fail to make your site accessible and you can be sued.
I find http://www.pagerank.net/ has a few useful tools.0 -
Highly unlikely for a one-man/woman business!30111987 wrote:Fail to make your site accessible and you can be sued.
Anyway, I've had my sites checked by a man in a wheelchair, a girl with one leg, my deaf old Mum and my one-eyed brother.

UTTER NONSENSE
I do this (SEO?SEM>PPC mgmnt) for a living
We have acheived top 3 results (Natural listings) using a budget of less than £500 for 10-15 keywords.
You have indicated you are paying up to £54 per conv... Get a natural listing andf you first TEN orders pay for the professional SEO, the rest are PROFIT . YOu can then utilise PPC strats on tougher keywords, or smaller engines that generate MORE traffic.
Google adwords are an expensive route to market long term.0
