Parking fine from Vehicle Control

in Reclaim PPI & other insurance
hi, i parked my car in my college on ristricted parking space last week as i was getting late for my class when i came back there was a ticket from vehicle control which was hand written (same as the one from council ) and it said onit that i have to pay £80 within 7 days..:(.. unfortunatelly i was kind of scared and had no choice but to pay 80 and it said it will increase to £125 if i dont pay...
the question is do i really had to pay that much for just an hour? so i know what todo next time.

    No, this is the right place for anyone who hasn't a clue what they were doing (even if they did) and then wants to try and claim back what they paid out. PPI, parking fines, it all comes back to the same thing.
