Gosh, with the same car as you get older and increase your NCB you would expect your insurance to go down! But I started off paying like £400 and its gone up to £1000 last year, what a joke.

The people who came up with the concept of insurance were either really clever or everyone else is just stupid or helpless.

Some one else is getting rich by literally doing nothing.

I was told that My insurance could be high because there has been a high incident of accidents with the type of car im driving. But how is that even justified. If you and a friend have the same car, but your friend drives recklessly and when drunk and crashs how can that mean that youre also likely to crash simply because you have the same car??

    ?

No they're not. At best they're hoping to break even at the moment due to the rise in personal injury claims as mentioned by others.

well if everyone else is claiming and im having to pay a higher premiuim then maybe i should claim something too (not that i would) but it has to be made more of a personal assessment rather then sterotyping

  • They have to stereotype for their model based upon risk to function. To make a personal assessment they'd have to send out staff to each individual who wanted a quote, or have them come to an office(there goes the convenience of online insurance) and it would cost a fortune, further adding to your premium. The questions you are asked when getting insurance is already pretty personal imo.

The real reason insurance is so expensive is because of all the dirty skanks making false personal injury claims.

Why was it so dear before everyone started making personal injury claims?

If no one ran into them in the first place, they couldn't make the claims.
