Barclaycard & Barclaycard/Egg

Options
Good evening

After sucsess with halifax i wanted to look in to 2 other cards i had.

i had a Egg CC that was taken over by Barclaycard, a month ago i recived a reply to my complaint saying they were looking in to it, today i recived a letter saying they were still looking and would come back to me in 4 more weeks.

The same as above applies to a Barclaycard i also a had.

has any one had any luck with Barclaycard or am i looking at taking 2 cases to the FOS like many others. i have yet to read about anybody reciving a refund from them .

Thank you in advance! NEVER GIVE UP

..and there have been rejections. ;)

Expect it to be slow as there is a backlog. You will get an answer though. Just wait for the moment. Going to the FOS will likely slow the process down further at this stage. It may also harm your complaint. I know that may sound weird but a bank that is auto paying out on smaller cases without investigation will be more likely to investigate the case if you take it to the FOS. We dont know what your complaint is or what evidence you have but an auto payout may be better for you than a properly investigated complaint outcome.
