I need a couple of things for my PC the main being a portable hard drive of either 500gb/1tb. Ive found one or two 500gb for 60 quid, is there any good ones cheaper elsewhere?
Also can anyone recommend any 80mm case fans for a desktop?

I guess he means you should google for it , I am not needing an external disk, and am not inclined to search for one either but a quick Google suggests £62 for as above.

i recommend not buying anything with the name WD or western digital at the moment, their drives dont seem to last very long.
I bought a 3.5in WD 1.5tb drive 2 years ago, 8months later it was returned for replacement, and then 14months later the replacement has been replaced. so 3rd WD at the moment, which is currently sitting on my desk still in the parcel it was sent to me in.
compare that to the samsung 1.5tb i bought 3 months before the WD which is still working perfectly "touch wood" and has not been replaced at all.0 -
Thanks for that, will steer clear of them then. Are there any with built in security or backup programs which are worth having?Old Faithful we roam the range together,
