Which TVhas a socket/port to be able to use some sort of headphones with?

Hi all, sorry if this is the wrong thread to ask on but the Television thread did not seem to be the place for this question either.

My TV has finally given up the ghost and I want to buy a new one but as i want to be able to watch the TV in the evening without complaints from the neighbours (live in a flat)I want to buy one that I can use some sort of headphones with. One that has a dedicated port/socket or one that I can use headphones with. SORRY I am not a techie person as you may have gathered!!!

Would be grateful for any help. Thanks x:)

I would have thought most, if not all, TVs that are sold today have a headphone socket.

OP, easier if you find TVs in your budget and post them up

Yes custardy you are right.
I have yet to find a TV that has this and have done loads of research.:(

Find a telly you like the look of, go find its manual online and have a look.

Recently bought a Sony KDL-32EX723, that has a headphone socket, but it's also the line output for feeding external amplifier, so could be a bit of a pain if you had to keep swapping them over (change plugs, then change menu setting). Otherwise an excellent piece of kit. Picture is excellent, though sound is rubbish through the built in speakers.

Our Samsung PS43D490 plasma has a headphone socket, I would imagine the 450 (non-3D) would have one too.
