A great feeling! It's quite fun having a challenge there. Turns a negative into a positive. I'll be so pleased if others follow on and manage to do things like this too

I'm looking to take a loan but only need £50, i'm guessing a Payday Loan is the best option but who would you recommend using?
Thank you in advance!
Hi, I know you've decided against a payday loan and I agree with your decision. Consider finding your local credit union and have a chat with them. They offer sound money advice along with loans and savings facilities and are owned by the members. Flexible terms and low rates of interest plus your loan repayment includes a savings facility. Being strapped for cash is not unusual, working out a solution can take stress away.0 -
Possibly a bad bit of advice here, Payday loans aren't bad if people use them correctly. You'd probably pay £15 interest to borrow £50 for 2-3 weeks.
Compare that with getting fined for bouced direct debits, your fuel to go to car boot sales. Problems with Payday loans are from those that never had intention of paying the loans back anyway and then start blaming the loan company for high rates. Which they are and can quickly get out of control when rolled over, but they ain't meant to be rolled over. Don't get over concerned about APR's either, APR's are calculated over a year and irrelevant if you borrow a small amount over a very short period of time.
If they are used as they are meant to be used then you sometimes are better off. Only borrow if you are sure you will pay it back on time.0
