Reputable laptop recycling

Hi I have a packard bell laptop/netbook (think its a 13" screen) which is about 3 years old but has a faulty power connection.
I no longer need the laptop as I have acquired a new one, does anyone know of an envirophone/mazuma type service for laptops? I'm really not expecting much value wise.
A quick google brought up a few results but would feel much better using a recommended site.
Thanks

no real suggestions, bar ebay.
Just wanted to say that you make sure all your personal data is both deleted, removed from trash, then erased.0 -
stick it spares & repairs on ebay, make sure you list what you think the fault is, then someone (like me) who can sort a power jack out will buy it and fix it up
use the restore pa\rtition and/or recovery disks to take it back to factory settings first......Gettin' There, Wherever There is......
I have a dodgy "i" key, so ignore spelling errors due to "i" issues, ...I blame Apple0
