hello has anyone had any luck with first plus from as early as 2001 wrote to them with martins template got a reply back in may saying it was all going threw the courts and it was out of their hands and this went on for weeks so sent it all to fos in june said the only way they could do it was to go threw the underwriters which at the time they found to be Lloyds of london.Have had two replys since saying my complaint is currently in our operations support area awaiting allocation to an adjudicator for investigation.Has anyone else has similar reply and does this just mean its a no go after 10 months i know they are over run with claims so any feed back on first plus or Lloyds of london would be great thanks

The underwriter route with FOS is still in the early stages i am afraid, they have a test case going at the moment and when they get the result of that you will hear something, either they can use this route or they cannot, you will just have to wait, be warned though it could take a very long time unless the insurer coughs up.
