Date of first statement?

I opened a Barclaycard Platinum Account a few weeks ago, and have just transfered over two BTs from other cards which are listed on my online account management page.
However they have not yet produced a statement for me (online or in paper) which worries me as I am getting near to the end of the four weeks (month) in which they say they will produce one?
How long does it roughly take to produce the first statement and then after that, the payment date?
I also just set up my DD for the account this afternoon so I am also concerned that my DD won't be set up in time so want to know when to make my first online payment!
Any help would be appreciated!

It should be around the end of the 4weeks that your statement will be produced.
You then have usually 21-22days from the statement date to the due date.
You are right not to rely on the DD being set up in time for the first payment.A smile enriches those who receive without making poorer those who giveor "It costs nowt to be nice"0 -
