Free ZIP file opener

I've been using WinRar but which has not worked the past few times I've used it. Is there other free software I can download?

Thanks so much. When I googled I found stuff that was free to download but then to screen where they wanted paying once downloaded.

i've used from the list provided the following,

7-zip have it installed alongside winrar and powerarchiver. 9/10 for the gui
Peazip, it was ok, can unpack quite a few filetypes and pack a few aswell includes formats not supported by winrar, winzip powerarchiver and 7-zip 8/10
izarc better interface, can do everything powerarchiver can do. 9/10
zipgenuis, its ok, on par with most of the other but gets outdated quickly 9/10
