Some MPPI is not mis sold, if you find out that yours was, I am sure dunstonh or magpiecottage can help you with this if they see your post, if you were mis sold then this is where you send the complaint to.

Remember their mortgage PPI was monthly and mortgage ppi is considered good advice, there has to be significant reason why you shouldnt of had it, otherwise you are wasting your time.0

..and santander don't appear to be one of the banks auto paying out on complaints. This also assumes that is was actually Santander that arranged the mortgage and not a mortgage adviser/broker or IFA.I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA). Thanks for the advice.
I believe I have a case for being mis- sold PPI as I am self-employed and have worked for less than 16 hours a week for many years and the policy booklet I have from 2000 states that you must work more than 16 hours a week to qualify.0 -

Most MPPi plans cover the self employed. The working hours issue applies at point of sale. Also, if you are self employed, there is little to prove you worked less or more. So, your level of income is more of a general guide. Its possible you will succeed in your complaint. Just be prepared for "discussion" on it.I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA).
