Hello, my son and i have swoped cars?, but his car is on finance, can i insure it as car still in his name,or must the car be in my name?(he is still 18months to pay on it) thanks for any info

You may find (dont know if they still enforce) that the finance company require HIM to have fully comprehensive insurance on the car. This may preclude you from insuring it in your name.IT Consultant in the utilities industry specialising in the retail electricity market.

Normally, yes, but with all the claims of fronting now, if you try to insure his car, you'll have no chance.
The only hope would be if you don't put him on as a named driver, to ensure the insurance company know he won't be on the road in it at all, and go through a broker to find an acommodating insurer.0
