Hi All

Sent my 2 barclays loans complaint to the FOS as they were rejected twice. Has anyone had their complaint upheld by the FOS and how long does it take for the FOS to look at your case? Thanking you

Hi there

Sorry to hear of the rejections, and I'm sure now the FOS will resolve this for you.
You should expect to receive an acknowledgement letter within 2 weeks of them receiving your complaint.
It is difficult to predict a timescale as the FOS are catching up with backlogs as well, but they will try to resolve in early stages if they can.

What the FOS generally do though is write to let you know every 2 months of where your complaint is currently at.

However, if your in any financial hardship or have circumstances, let the FOS know as early as you can with the details, and ask for fast tracking, they will consider dealing with the complaint earlier.

Hopefully though your complaint will be resolved sooner rather than later, fingers crossed and good luck.
