I'm going to buy a car this Sunday (25/mar/2012)
Road tax expires 1st april, (got 5 working days to get everything sorted)
Can I accomplish everything in that time?
Can get innsurance immediately with admiral? Do they provide a instant online copy? Then I have to renew road tax I will need insurance proof to get road tax (i think).
Lastly I need to get council parking permit, I think I will need the v5 under my name and another residental proof like council tax/utility bill.
Question.. Is it possible to get road tax immediately? Instead of by post?

Yes, you should be given a tear off section of the V5 to show you have just acquired the vehicle and as long as you have the insurance certificate (which they should be able to e-mail to you) you can get the car taxed at a post office.

Why not just get the person selling the car to renew the tax for you, at your cost obviously.0
