what is the point of ICTSIS? :mad: typical "cant do this we cant do that" regulations for consumers, repeat regular offenders allowed to carry on who cost in the ictsis fines, automated email responses without a reference number and it takes 6 months to "conclude" a complaint and a very vague line saying "check our website for adjudications" :eek: :eek: - !!!!!!??? yeah great - you complain and you dont even get an individual reply !! - so i complained .........and got the same automated email response :rolleyes:
many years ago i complained to my MP to ictsis and even he wrote to them that they "appeared to have no teeth"
ICTSIS needs a major overhaul

Forgive me if I appear thick but what exactly are you complaining about?
I work in an industry governed by ICSTIS and they are far from toothless, in fact they can (and regularly do) hand out heavy fines for non compliance with the regulations.

And don't forget they are currently investigating the Richard and Judy phone-in quiz scandal.

in my experience they have been useless - and those heavy fines you talk about are "costed in" as i mentioned by repeat offenders -if ictsis were really doing their job - then they surely and logically they would not need to hand out lots of fines -prevention is better than cure
