Halifax CC application question.

Just a quick question, I was thinking of applying for a purchases CC with Halifax, I was wondering why they are asking for my sort code and account number for my current account.

Do not really like giving those details out since coming here :-)

Can they look into my account details with that information ?

Thanks in Advance..

To help prove your identity, you may also be asked how long you have had the account, the longer you have had the account the better showing stability to the lender and help your credit score.

You dont have to give those details but if that question is part of the application and you want to apply then yes you will have to give the details required in order to progress the application.

No - however if the account is a Halifax account then yes.

    Thanks in Advance..
