Best Business Accounts?

I am new in here and this is my first post.

I'd be happy to get to know from your experience, the best business accounts out there.

Currently with HSBC, but transaction fees are too high. :eek::mad:

Anything else to suggest?:D

How long is a piece of string?

Every business has different requirements for example retailers will mainly deal in cash and cards so will need to take cash to the bank daily, and hire a card machine. There as Lawyers will mainly deal with cheques and bank transfers so will look for a bank that does this cheaply.

I suggest you go over to the Small Biz & Charities' MoneySaving board, start a thread where you describe what type of transactions your business mainly does, and ask for advice about what bank would likely sort you.

If you are on the standard HSBC business current account, you can switch to their Business Direct tariff. This has no transaction charges at all except for paying in cash in a branch. Obviously if you need to do this it won't be for you, otherwise this is what you should do.
