  • I have a pair of 'Creative EP-630 Noise Isolating Earphones' from amazon, currently reduced to £12 from £25 and are really superb! Great quality sound and a bargain price!

On play.com they are currently £6.47 + Free delivery

Reading the reviews suggest they often break.

While I thank you for your replies, I think I now want a more solid, sustainable and most of all pretty good quality set. Comparing reviews for the EP-360's to CX300's... It's a no brainer that the Senns are better...
And comparing reviews from CX300's to S4's and E10's it's clear that they are a stronger competitor.
    Thanks again

Sennheiser CX 300-II are the best in-ear for the price but RHA MA-350 are good too

Also have a look at Sennheiser HD202's - they're used frequently in TV edit suites as excellent quality for the price

    Worth considering :-)

They're not in-ear as the OP wants but good headphones too.

It's by no means an easy decision...
Who would have thought earphones would cause such a difficult choice, I had less problems choosing a TV, Surround Sound, Computer and Laptop.

What makes the Senn CX 300-II's better than SoundMAGIC E10's and Klipsch s4's?

If I were to say, I listen to mostly acoustic, bit of rock, bit of jazz and bit of pop... What earphones are best for those genre's. I know a lot of those who listen hip-hop and rap like the Senns due to the good bass. Are they too bassy for acoustic?

S4s are a lot better than cx300s which have drab, bloated bass and non-existant highs.

Iems get alot better in the £50 to £100 range.
I shot a vein in my neck and coughed up a Quaalude.
