    They can not offset at the moment but once your accounts are with Santander they would be allowed to offset I can imagine.

    Just rang Branch, deadline is 30th June 2012 to transfer and keep your account with RBS.

    Could anyone say if the RBS Branch sale to Santander is still going ahead in September 2012? And is there a set date?
    I heard that the branch sale has been postponed for three months?
