notmyrealname, I'll swap you, your job for my brain damage! BTW, my fiance became seriously ill a year ago and our monthly income has decreased by £500 per month. He pays DOUBLE in contributions than I receive each month in benefits so I'm afraid you're preaching to the wrong person. Trust me, you might think that all benefits claimants are scroungers but we're not, some of us just hit a really rough patch and unfortunately some of us are never going to get better. The last time I saw my neuro there was no cure for brain damage but hey ho, the 2 brain tumours I have aren't growing so I can count at least one blessing.
Yaaay, I finally conned a man into making a honest woman of me. Even more shocking is that I can put the words "Happily" and "Married" into the same sentence and not have life insurance on my mind when I say it ;-)

How are you getting a drop when you're getting more money per week?

There are millions of working people funding your benefits who have seen a real cash terms loss in their wages, some to the tune of 20-30% and many many others who in cash terms haven't had a rise for three or four years now.

Read my post properly, I didn't say I had got a drop in money, I said I'd had a 0.9% increase instead of a 5.2% increase. Considering I actually said the word "Increase" I'm pretty sure I haven't said anywhere that I've had a drop in benefits. Hilarious, I have brain damage yet can still read!
