Does anybody know if you can do a balance transfer onto a amex gold card As i need to pay for a large item and have a couple of 0% balance transfers on two of my cards so thought i could but with the gold card then do a couple of transfer balances worked out i would save over £290 rather taking the credit terms offered by the supplier.

IF your question is can you make a purchase with an Amex charge card and then pay the charge card with a 0% balance transfer, then the answer is most likely NO.

Depending on which credit cards you have, you MIGHT be able to do a bt to your current account which you could then use to pay Amex.

Alternatively, make the purchase with one of the credit cards and pay off the purchase with a bt from the other credit card.
