Micro SD card - help

Hello guys, I want to get a micro sd card for my satnav but I'm confused as to which one to get. The spec says that it takes a micro sd card, but if I get an SDHC card, which seems to be the most common on websites, would this be compatible? If not, is there a way I can find out to make sure I get the right type?

Which satnav do you have. MicroSD comes in three varieties: microSD, microSDHC, microSDXC.
Depending on the firmwre of your sat-nav, it may not accept SDHC. Although you should be able to find 4GB standard microSD that will suffice for map storage.0 -
I have the Garmin 1310. I think it will only accept the std SD, but I don't know how I can check to see if it is compatible with the SDHC.0

I went on mymemory website, and I can't find any SD cards greater than 2 GB. I would have preferred at least 4GB, but these are all SDHC.0 -
I would assume it's standard microSD from what I have seen. 4GB is £3 anyhow so little to lose.0

£3 risk as stated. Give it try. I'm sure it'll be fine.0 -
Thanks again for your reply - it just occurred to me that my mobile uses micro SDHC. I tried the card in my satnav, and it worked fine.
