Calling All Conveyancers!

Im so sorry if this is in the wrong section but I thought it would get attention from people it was aimed at here.

I was wondering if any of the conveyancers who post here know of any websites or other resources for learning about title checking a property and also looking at restrictions that kind of thing.

I would be really greatful for any help.

Thanks.

  • The Land Registry website is good for checking titles etc although you do have to pay a small fee - you can also get some good books from the library. However, I wouldn't recommend going it alone with a title - I have been a Conveyancer for 10 years and even now I learn something new alomost every day.

What is it that you are concerned about? (if you don't mind me asking)

Should of made this a little clearer.

The reason I ask is because im going for a promotion at work and one part is to sit a title check test to become a remortgage fee earner.

So i was hoping to really read up on my stuff so I improve my changes of getting the job.

I would be really greatful even if its just a book name or website as I've been looking at books but often they only cover small sections.
