But I will also have Income Protection Insurance in place. If I lose my job within 3 months I won't get a payout, but I have a months notice from work anyway. Job seekers would actually cover 70% of my mortgage too. After the first three months of the policy my Income Protection Insurance will pay out enough to cover my mortgage, all of my bills, my food and a bit extra. And it costs £18 a month. That's with 0 days waiting time. Gives me piece of mind for not a lot of cost.
I'm curious drummer_666 what PPI provider and Policy have you chosen?0 -

I haven't paid and set it up yet, just done my research. Waiting for the sale to go through first
My paperwork at home, but I think the best deal I found for Income Protection was through mysupermarket.com with British Insurance paying out £500 per month
Excess period - back to day one. I was going to go for a higher monthly figure. But figured £500 from insurance, plus either £250ish from job seekers or £350 statutory sick pay that'd cover everything.0
