To expand it's not a bad value box but I think the selection is dull...

Nail polish - I've got tonnes and it's not an exciting new brand
Hair products - 2 of the 4 items are hair related (I've got really short hair so a shampoo and a bit of wax suffices for me) and I can't really get excited over shampoo
A body oil - this is the most interesting item, but I can get a much larger 50mls of it at Feel Unique for £10.99, making getting the box just for one item not worth it.

Where's the lovely skincare and makeup? I get beauty boxes to indulge in things I can't usually justify buying; not to get staples like shampoos. I'm gutted because I skipped the March box (I don't wear lashes, the Deep Steep moisture stick was a similar product to the Bakewell Soap Company balm in the Feb box, I have more Nip&Fab stuff than I care to admit and also got the brand in my Feb box, and I don't subscribe to beauty boxes to get toothpaste *yawn*!) so I was really hoping this month's would contain some makeup, skincare and more interesting brands that they hadn't already featured. I actually regret not getting the March box in hindsight because it was much better than this month's selection.

I appreciate that they have to work with the products and brands they manage to get hold of that month, but I don't get why in a box containing 4 products 2 of them would be haircare (and one menu contains two shampoos - overkill)! I think Love Me Beauty need to mix up the choices a bit more because if you dislike one of their menus chances are you won't like the others. At least the option to skip is there which is an advantage over other boxes I guess...

I'm wondering whether to skip this months LMB and order BB instead, i cancelled it in Jan as it was rubbish but it's got to be better than LMB this month
  • Do i just click Pause?
I've already been billed for this month so assume they'll class it as next months if i reinstate my order?

Last month it didn't give me the option of clicking pause so I emailed to let them know (they basically put a note on your account so they don't pick a box for you that month) but I guess clicking pause should work (if you're unsure drop them an email too). I think I'll be emailing them and also hoping next month's is better!

I just hope my You Beauty box arrives for my beauty fix this month as I don't fancy BB or GB!

a bit disappointed in this months LMB too as there wasnt much choice. i went for option 3 as i might has well have a shampoo & conditioner that i know i will use rather than hair balm or spray that i have a tonne of in the cupboard that rarely get touched.

I think the trouble with LMB is I was spoilt with the first few boxes; their values were £30+, and they contained a good variety of products and brands I wasn't familiar with (the Feb one with Dr Bragi, La Claree and Bakewell Soap Co really stood out) so this one is just average. The products only come to around £24 so ok value as at least they're worth more than the box cost, but not amazing (note that their website says the boxes value is £30+ though, which unless my maths is wrong is a bit cheeky). And add to that to the fact my YBD box was worth about £30 and cost practically half what LMB does I'm rather disappointed!

Even though I ordered my YBD items early on the 1st, I only received my confirmation email this morning! Tad annoyed seeing as some have already received their boxes. Why the delay?

I got my box yesterday morning and my dispatch email yesterday evening. The dispatch emails are hit and miss so I never go by them! Brilliant box as always though :)
