Good Morning All, My daughter has kindly said that she wants to buy me a beauty box subscription.
Please could I have some opinions on which is best Glossy box or Birch box. I am lets put it "of more mature years"
    Thanks in advance

I would usually say Glossybox, but after this months, I'm now not so sure? Birchboxes have been shipped, so when it arrives, I'll let you know which box won the battle of the beauty boxes this month! In general though, I've always preferred Glossybox as I've had quite a few really good boxes from them. It is though, very hit and miss, the boxes aren't all equal.

I've just received my July Brirchbox. At first I wasn't sure, as have loads of 2 of the contents, but the products I loved are expensive a n good quality.

A spoiler so please don't look if you haven't yet received. :)

Oooo looks good! Better than the Glossybox one I think. I like that they put Food and drink in it too!

I liked the sound of that too. Good value for money this month. :)

Had an update from the Beauty Bible. My test products should be within me within a few weeks as have now been assigned to a team. Can't wait! :D

I have exactly the same box too - I'm not sure about the colour of one of the items, possibly a wee bit coral. The rest though looks like a good mix of luxury things.

The Latest in Beauty, Ultimate Summer Nails collection limited edition is back in stock for the next 48 hours. Just had an email, ran out within a couple of hours after going live when it first came out.

I signed up for the reservation list so was why I got the email. Might work generally though. It costs £14.95 (inc p&p), and the contents are worth £55. Well worth ordering.

I quite liked that, was very bright when first put on, but once used looked ok. Think a product to use sparingly, great for slipping in your handbag.

Liked the other luxury item (in the bag with the tablet) as costs a fortune the full size which has 4 of them, so will feel indulgent when using, as would never pay that amount for 4 single use products.

Received July's excellent souksouk box. Another fantastic box

Spoiler. Please don't click if you haven't received yours.

I really want to cancel birchbox despite being good this month does not compare with my favourites, and really need to cancel one of them, trouble is August looks like it will be a good one too.

Hello all, I have just joined this forum so finding my feet. Came across this thread which I thought I must post on!

I have just subscribed to a new beauty box called Boxdelux. I saw several reviews of it on blogs and have been umming about it for a while, but just happened to go on their site yesterday and they have a 50% off your first box offer running which includes postage so thought I would give it a try!

From the reviews it seems to be a bit different then just a standard beauty box - looks like it includes products other than just beauty. Has anyone else tried them?
