HFC Bank Help

Hi,

Hopeing someone can help or point me in the right direction, I sent a letter into HFC Bank simply asking for my original documentation to check if I had a claim for PPI, I recieved a letter back today saying:

"The Bank is not required to provide information under section 77/78 of the Consumer Credit Act 1974 when a loan agreement has been paid in full."

I have paid the loans(s) in full and I think they were paid up in 2007, but where I do stand and where can/should I go from here?

Thanks in advance for any help.

If you had ppi on this loan, get a free trial of your credit report and this loan will show on there, it will give you the last 4 digits you can use these.

If you paid this by DD and have internet banking, go on your DD list and the account number will be there, if not ring your bank and ask if they can find this info.

Go into a local branch of HFC and see if they can find you, give them as much info as you can about this loan and they may find you.
