Cashing a sterling cheque from a US Bank??

Hello,
I have a received a cheque from an American Society. They have used a bank in Atlanta. It is for £150 and is made out in sterling rather than US Dollars. On the bottom it says 'To Barclays Bank Plc ...London' and gives a sort code and acct number.
I would like to know whether I can pay this into my LLoyds TSB account as normal or whether there will be extra paperwork and charges attached? I have found some posts relating to Cheques in dollars from US banks but none concerning cheques which have already been changed into British currency.
Sorry if this is a daft question but any advice appreciated - would be useful to know if I'm going to have difficulty at the bank or whether I can just nip in and out as usual.
Thanks!

I expect that all charges have been paid at the other end, but I suggest that you ask someone at your bank rather than simply using a machine.0

I think this is some form of international bank draft rather than a cheque. You will need to take it to your bank and see what they have to say about it.0

Just pay it in on a paying in slip. It will go through clearing as a normal cheque.43580

If it has a sort code xx-xx-xx you can just pay it directly in as it is drawn on the British bank already.
American cheques (checks) have a 9 digit routing number, account number and cheque number on the bottom line just for reference.0
