Finding employment

You can do this if the employer will actually accept CV's in person as some job ads ive seen only want applications via email and email only so your theory is blown out of the water.
Good luck if you think any employer actually reads hundreds of email applications. The will pick a handful and delete the rest no matter well written those emails maybe.0 -
Why would anybody just randomly email a lot of employers? There's more thought put into emails by most people then you give credit for.
It doesn't take long editing a CV and covering letter for each employer and sending the email. It takes a lot longer to physically travel to the employer's address. You're naive if you think emailing shows the same sincerity as going in to hand in your CV in person. It's like someone's funeral. You can type a well written blog on Facebook but it won't appear sincere as attending the funeral in person.0 -
Just to repeat what I said, I'm not saying you shouldn't visit the company but for a lot of roles/companies you'll just end up with wasted shoe leather as you just won't get to see anybody beyond reception so there will be no face to face contact. It all depends on the company, role etc..0

I never said I expected employers to read hundreds of emails, I was just stating that not all employers want hand delivered applications but yes some do accept hand delivered applications.0
