Friends Tax

Not sure if this is the right place to ask so sorry if it isnt but we have had a BAC payment into our bank account marked 'Friends Tax' I have checked with the bank and googled it and neither seem to know what this is or in the case of the bank where it came from apart from asking me if I expected it!!!!!! Has anyone any ideas?

I have also received a payment from Friends Tax and I have no idea who they are. I have contacted my bank and they are going to trace where it has comes from, when I hear back from them I will let you know.0 -
I think this could be a pension payment or similar from Friends Life??
My wife only has a very small pension and it is paid annually because it is so small!. We have just received a similar payment which was backdated and was shown as being received a month ago. It's sudden appearance on a statement did cause some concern as it was not shown on earlier statements. It's not certain but it could well be this.0
