  • Morning everyone.
    Thanks for the thread Determined.
Slept in today but last night next door's baby was crying for what seemed like hours on end again (Nearly every night now). OH just sleeeps through it but it wakes me!
Well I went and bought the motorbike I have been hankering after for the last 4 years yesterday. :o And on credit too. :o:o:o.
But hey, you only live once right? It will be delivered all spanking new and shining next Wednesday. :j
This also gives me an incentive to lose 2 stone in weight so I can fit back into my bike leathers. ASAP (Will save me around £800 instead of buying a new 'fat' set!) so no more chocolate and wine!

So now back to serious MSE and debt paying:
    Todays list:
Iron all three sets of uniforms for work so I can leave them there.
    Go to work 2pm till 9pm. :(
    Meals from stores.
    Surveys.
Walk pooches for some free exercise and fresh air.
LSD, will buy a hair dye and do it myself, save £45 a time at the hairdressers.
Try and get some tapestry done, will try and do at least 1 craft fair later this year and need to start building some stock.
Have a look on line for jobs as mine is carp (but it's a job)

    Have a good day everyone.
  • Hung washing on the line (lovely weather today)
    Enter Comps
    Saved £2 on Shopping

check banks and see if money from agent has arrived yet (probably will be tomorrow)
    charge phones at work
food from stores for us all (extra people in house this week!)
chase up invoices so I can sort out previous tenant deductions and pay her money back
Did put a load of washing on before I left home so hope MIL will put on line to dry if not then on the airer tonight.

    Hi everyone :hello:

Thanks for your motivating job hunting words yesterday :) I'm not really in a mega rush and am quite picky about what I'd do/where I'd go so I don't expect something to appear straight away - last time it took me 9 months from deciding to job hunt to starting in my current job. Let's see what Christmas brings ;)

Ziggy - Thank you! I really enjoyed it and think the others did too… You know where we are if you ever have a Tuesday eve off, no problem at all ;) I can imagine what it's like trying to fit everything in for you with the LO and your OH working nights.

    Here's me:
    - Brekkie at home
    - Walk to/from work
    - Waited till I got to work to have a free cuppa rather than having one at home
    - Hung washing outside yesterday :D :j :D The joys of not living in a flat - this is the first time I've ever been able to do this!!!! :j oh the small things!
    - Leftovers for lunch
    - Friend bought me tea and cake yesterday - my turn next week I guess, but that is after pay day ;)
    - Getting shoes for hols delivered - will send back any I have ANY doubts about!!!
    - Tidying round tonight
    - Bit of my essay and lesson planning for yoga course
    - £1 PAD to cc
    - Email friend, not call
    - Chippy tea :p - fishcake rather than fish to save the pennies ;)

Not to encourage your spending on credit but....

    TELL ME EVERYTHING!!!

Pictures / a model name I can google photo?

I've had a very bad motorbike safety day today, due to lack of morning caffeine.

Sleepy brain - why is my bike making this strange noise?
Awake brain (half way into office) - BECAUSE YOU FORGOT YOUR HELMET :eek: and can actually hear it for a change
Sleepy brain - Oh no! At least I wore those leggings under my dress...
Awake brain - no you didnt and your skirt is around your waist and showing off your granny knickers to everyone on a busy road....

Ehem. Yes. Dont feel that I need to make any MSE confessions after that.

PS my father has a set of bright blue leathers from the 70s that still fit him. I aspire.

Hi all, missed yesterday as it was work/school pick up/son's birthday party/collapse. Today I've been off and clutter busting. (sorry, that sounds a little rude :rotfl::rotfl:).

    So today I have:
    • All meals from stores.
    • Didn't buy chocolate even though I was desperate!
    • Dried washing on line.
    • Cleared understairs cupboard and found some bits to regift and eBay.
    • Sent off old mobile, will get £1.07!!
    • Bought kids clothes on eBay.
    • Made a cake.
    • Everyone packed lunch.
    • Used stardrops for the first time, yey, they're fab!
    • Heating on for kids showers but will be off the minute that water stops running!

Have moved kids clocks on 10 minutes to ensure early night. The power of bing a parent!:D

Evening all, late post for me today. Been to Manchester for work today - best part of 3 hours each way on the train. Lovely countryside though and I gots lots of work done on the way there. Rested my eyes on the way back :rotfl:

    Anyway, list for today:
Keep on on 2 things finishing on fleabay. Pack up if they pay.
See if I have the energy to list some more. :o
Looks like I need to think long and hard about raising some capital. Having work done on rented house (budgeted for) and they phone today to say they have found more :( they will let me know cost tomorrow  probably unavoidable and good in the long run, but still:eek:
Meals from stores, check meal plan for rest of week
Remind DH to buy course on line that can hopefully help him get a better job :o
Register on line for BG so I can claim extra nectar points.
Stick to diet and log on app
Have a good nose round this website and see where I can strip back budget further.

Think that's all. Have a great evening everyone :)
