Selling property overseas - advice required please??

Hey everyone,

I have a one bedroom apartment that I would like to sell in Bulgaria.

Does anybody have any recent experience of selling a property in Bulgaria? If so, who did you use to sell it??

There are so many companies online that I can sell it through but to be honest I don't know where to start.

The company that I purchased it through 7 years ago are looking for just under 3000eur to sell it which would be equal to about 9% or what I would hope to get for it.

Any help or advice or anybodys recent experiences would be really greatly appreciated.

Rgds
Daniel

If you own property in Bulgaria I would expect you to know something of the property market and how it works in Bulgaria.

Nip out there and find an estate agent locally (or whatever the equivelant is) and a soliciotor (or the equivelant).

why did you buy it in the first place, and how?

Did you buy it through a regular EA in the country, or -

Was this company that you purchased it through a 'property investment company' or similar?

It was purchased as an investment and a holiday home but unfortunately due to a change in circumstances I now need to sell it.

It was purchased through a company called Bulgarian Properties, which is the largest real estate agency in Bulgaria.

So, if you don't want to hire the largest real estate agency in the whole of the country, then why not....?

and if you're not looking for what they're offering, what are you actually looking for?

    Where is it?
What did you pay for it?
    How big is it?
    Is it furnished?

Properties in the overdeveloped places are as low as 50% of the purchase price.

So how much did you actually pay for it, and how have you determined it's current value is now about 33,000 euros??
