New light fitting no earth

Putting up a new ceiling light but it only have a live and nuetral connection in the new light, while i have 3 wires coming out the ceiling, so not sure what i should do with the earth wire?thanks in advance.

Hi Quanz, bit strange there is no earth wire. You say there is 3 wires coming from the ceiling? what colour are they? If you cannot find an earth then your easiest option is a double insulated light as in the link below. Any pics?

The fitting is double insulated, its a new ikea light fitting - its just really what to do with the neutral that will be left hanging.

BLACK
GREEN/YELLOW
The light fitting is
LIVE
NEUTRAL.
