Lloyds TSB or Cardif Pinnacle?

I'm looking at putting in a PPI complaint form for Personal Overdraft Protection that I unknowingly had on my Lloyds TSB bank account, but I'm confused as to who I should be contacting about it!. I'd known I'd had a £3.95 charge going out of my account for a while but assumed it was a charge for my account and at £3.95 a month never really felt like investigating.

I eventually investigated and managed to track down the source, and called Cardif Pinnacle to see what exactly I was paying for. Once I knew, I cancelled the policy and they sent me a copy of the letter I supposedly received when I took the policy out. The policy document is from Lloyds TSB but the welcome letter and correspondence are from Pinaccle.

The original letter says all correspondence regarding the policy should be through Cardif Pinnacle now, but I'm assuming Lloyds TSB Insurance Services initiated/sold the policy to me.

Who do I submit a complaint form to - Lloyds TSB or Cardiff Pinnacle ?

Hello there.

If you are complaining about the policy being mis-sold then your starting point should be Lloyds TSB as it sounds like they conducted the original sale.
