Quite often they'll Congratulations or Winner in the title. Sometimes they'll have the title of the competition in the title i.e 'Spring Wardrobe Competition' or just have the prize in the title i.e 'Magix'.

Quite often though they are from a person i.e. Emma Smith as opposed to just saying from 'Next' or from 'BHS'.
    2009 Wins = £833
    2010 Wins = £6,597
    2011 Wins = £7,083

    £2,012 in 2012 = £450/£2,012
    20 in 2012 = 4/20

Thank you all for this thread, I too had noticed that a few of my emails had been filtered by gmail before being downloaded to outlook so I had stuff in a spam folder that I never knew about, thankfully no WEMs.

Does anyone use gmail and if so, can you tell me if you put your filter words ie winner, won, congratulations etc in the "Has the words" or "Subject".

I have also chose to star it and never send to spam - have I missed anything?

    Hey MsBooty,

I use Gmail - but don't have outlook so use gmail only. I have set my filters to 'has the words' and set them so that more is less. I have one filter that has 'won' another has 'winner' another has 'congratulations' and so on.. i personally keep everything to go to my inbox but have set those filters to be 'starred' so I notice those emails more.. and if i check my emails and have like 60 emails in my inbox i can just go straight to my 'starred inbox' which is located just below the main inbox i think, on the left hand list (inbox/sent/bin etc) and can sort through those emails first..

    Hope that makes sense! :D
I smile because I have absolutely no idea what's going on

thanks livewire. It sounds like your settings are virtually the same as mine apart from you have 3 separate filters as opposed to my one. I think I may change mine as thinking about it, it may only filter them if it has all 3 of the words I have suggested. Off to change now, thanks

anything has to be better than what I have at the mo, I come home to hundreds of emails daily, spend hours going through them checking that I am only deleting newsletters but there is always the fear that I may be deleting a win. Fingers x'd now. Thank you and thank all that have posted info on this subject:)
