Hi,
I could do with some assistance on where I'm going wrong with my email!
I have outlook 2010 (not express) currently installed on my desktop with 2 email address set up (the default which is MrH and mine, MrsH). Now what I am trying to do is set up my email on my laptop only and remove my email from the desktop. I have installed outlook 2010 on the laptop and set up all the pop3 settings etc and checked it's all correct BUT...when I click the send test email, it ends up on my email on the desktop, even if outlook is closed, and i get an error on the laptop "login to server failed"...which has confused me cause it has actually sent the test email.
I'm sure it's something really simple...like maybe I need to remove my desktop email and then sort it out on the laptop (reluctant to do this tho before I'm sure laptop email is working)
Help...what I am doing wrong?
Thanks
HP x

I'm with talktalk...I've tried using imap in the past and had lots of problems with it. I don't want to have it on both machines for me, only my laptop whilst MrH keeps his on the desktop.
Hopefully this might help.
