Social Homebuy Questions

Hi im interested if anyone knows about this new Scheme that just came out early 2007.

Id like to buy my council property but 2 simple questions hopefully someone can answer them ;)

1) It says min payment is 25%, if I was to put down 50% of the house payment would they effectivly then give me 50% off ie the house would be brought then?

2) My Counicl property is owned by my parents, im just the son, if it is brought would this change there social/disability benifits that my parents are getting ? Or is there a work around to this perhaps I can buy it instead?

Thx in advance:T

This places me in a difficult position as I do not want to break forum rules. But I think I am correct in saying that there are no other Registered Homebuy posters in the forum. So I leave it with you to act as you wish.
