Help with claim please

I have claimed for 3 lots of PPI (not mine I am helping my sister) Halifax have agreed to pay out on 2 of the loans. Brilliant.
The 3rd loan they are saying did not have PPI on it. The paperwork does not state PPI but she did pay for something called "life stages repayment cover" I assume this is the same thing and they are trying to throw me off the scent?

    Hi there

Well done on your sister's success on the 2 loans ppi, and to you to for helping her through this.

The other I have not heard of before, so if your sister has no details of this cover, they should send the details/policy of this through the post free of charge on request, then when this is received check it out to see what it entails exactly.

    Good luck.

Looks like a type of ppi to me.

Read through and see if any of the exclusions apply to you, as this is a monthly payment separate to the loan you will have to have reason for not cancelling and why you have continued to pay this as it is renewed monthly.

The unemployment cover is good, if you are first named borrower.

Thank you for that. The reason that it has not been cancelled is that her fiance (who's loan it really is) never really understood what it was for, if he had he would have realised that he already is insured (he is self imployed and already has a very strong insurance package again illness etc) They never asked him at point of sale if he already had something and made it sound like he needed this in order to get the loan.

If he took out that insurance and did not know what it was for, how does he know what these other insurances are for and if they are adequate for his needs (bearing in mind the new loan meant a new commitment)?
