I am totally confused!!!
I went for a driving assesment in Nov 2011- and lets cut a long story short, the recommended to me I drive an automatic with left foot accelerator rather than a manual
They didn't tell me too, but I rang the DVLA to check I could still drive, and basically in the first instance I had to ask my GP- no problem.
They then sent me out a medical questionaire which I filled in, came back and was said my licence was being revoked.
I have been given 3 months to retrain in this automatic car and then go back for another assessment (which is going to be 3rd May)
Now- here comes the confusion. My driving instructor thinks I should of been sent a Section 88, and he was thinking I had to do another DSA test (?!)
Has anyone been in the same/similar situation? What was the outcome???
Im totally confused

Well reading this DirectGov webpage, section 88 is only applicable if you voluntarily surrendered your licence.
You did not voluntarily surrender your licence.
Another DirectGov webpage tells you how to get your licence back after it has been revoked.0
