I don't use the ankle ones but do use wrist/arm ones. I would imagine they will help but perhaps have a word with your specialist or doctor first to see if they feel they are beneficial to your condition.
How people treat you becomes their karma; how you react becomes yours.

Talk to your physio. The problem with these is if you use them early on whilst there is still swelling they stop the swelling reducing and are jolly uncomfortable as your toes, and other parts swell instead.

Why not wear light weight lace up walking boots to give you some support.

Fusion healing well? I fell down stairs and tore lateral ligaments in good ankle so a bit of a set back but at least I'm driving now.

Actually, one of the support screws holding the rod in place has snapped and needs replacing, so I am going in for further surgery on june 27th. Then maybe I can start healing properly.

The original fusion suffered a non-union. So had to have a refit, complete removal of metal works, and a brand new fusion, focusing on the sub-talar joint.
After initial 6 weeks in cast, surgeon decided on a further 4 weeks in cast, to allow for the best chance of union. Cast will come off on may 30th, then Air boot, but not sure on the level of muscle wastage and pain levels.
