cracking a nail with a sledgehammer imo, totally unnecessary legislation that will end up in tenants paying more rent, the HMO scheme has also been a disaster. 11% is nowhere near enough to justify changing the whole system, its ridiculous.
has anyone come up with ideas to avoid this scheme apart from increased rent/advance?0 -

If one in ten shopkeepers tried to steal from you, would you not want something to be done about it?"Mrs. Pench, you've won the car contest, would you like a triumph spitfire or 3000 in cash?" He smiled.
Mrs. Pench took the money. "What will you do with it all? Not that it's any of my business," he giggled.

Not if I was the one doing the stealing!
It's funny all these LLs saying about how this is a disgraceful piece of legislation and how it's going to end up costing their poor old tenants a fortune. How they would never steal anyone's money.
It'll mean the end of the £300 cleaning bill with a nice £100 kick back to the LL. That's what the bleating is all about.0
