Lloyds TSB offer letter

Hi all
This is my first post after reading many so please excuse me if this is covered in a another thread that I've not got round to reading.
I sent off my questionnaire to LTSB in June 2011 for PPI on a 2002 loan along with a PPI questionnaire for an old credit card. I received an offer letter regarding the credit card in October 2011 and the amount was paid to me in November 2011. LTSB wrote to me in Sep 2011 to dismiss my loan PPI complaint and suggested I speak to the FOS if I wanted to challenge this, which I did. I understood the huge backlog of cases with the FOS so I hung tight. To my surprise, at the end of Feb 2012 I got a letter from FOS advising that LTSB have now decided to uphold my complaint and that I'd hear from them with some calculations and figures. Has anyone else been in the same situation and typically how long did it take for you to receive your offer letter? I know 8 weeks seems to be the "norm" and this is what the FOS have suggested however from reading a number of posts on this forum, I can see that some people have waited over 100 days
Cheers!

Hi and welcome.
Well done on your success!
I have had many successful reclaims via Lloyds, where luckily I did not have to complain to the FOS, but before this I did at first make a reclaim on credit card ppi mis selling, now that one did go as far as the FOS.
From what I can recall, lloyds did get in touch within the 8 weeks with mine, but not my hubby's, so after not hearing from them by 8 weeks, the adjudicator chased them up on his behalf, so if this happens, do let the FOS know.
Good luck. The one and only "Dizzy Di"
