Hi guys, new to this topic, received a county court claim today from Haswell. He originally sent me corespondence addressed to someone else but with my car details and has now written to me so was unsure if this was a scam. Now that I have received court papers, what shall I do?

Pepipoo is the place for you to get help with this, hopefully tonight. Register and start a new topic and you should get a pm (make sure it's from a regular there with lots and lots of posts, hundreds/thousands):

The OP now has his own PePiPoo thread - Click hereMy very sincere apologies for those hoping to request off-board assistance but I am now so inundated with requests that in order to do justice to those "already in the system" I am no longer accepting PM's and am unlikely to do so for the foreseeable future (August 2016).
For those seeking more detailed advice and guidance regarding small claims cases arising from private parking issues I recommend that you visit the Private Parking forum on PePiPoo.com0 -
I did PM the user as I stated above but received no response. Hopefully he has been told to file the Acknowledgment of Service, disputing the whole claim, which will buy him some time to follow up with a defence.0

He has, yes.Je Suis Cecil.0

Good, so long as he beats the scumbag, which he will do if he defends. The cases I have seen that Hasbeen has brought are losers.
He may also lose out in another direction as well. Unfortunately he isn't good at thinking things through. well, unfortunately for him, that is.0
