Ho
Just wondering if anyone has had any success with welcome finance on loans over the years. I have contacted them regarding a loan that finished the very end of 2005 and havent heard from them, that was 4 weeks ago ? Im not hopeful but just curious how other people got on and how long do you give a company ??
MANY THANKS

They are long winded i am afraid, they have 8 weeks to give you a final response although it could be longer, give them a ring and ask if they have received your complaint.0

Good Luck.
They have had our claim since 29th December, they sent us some forms back which had not been dated which i returned and they confirmed receipt of. I waited 8 weeks to be told that i had not filled out section E1, checked my copies knowing that i had, told them i had copies and they were fully filled in, apparently they have now lost all our forms!
Expect underhand lies, photocopy everything you send them and once you get over 8 weeks of them having all the info then copy FSCS in on ALL correspondence.
I have done this and FSCS are now investigating :j0 -

Hi
I contacted Welcome today and they say that my decision (final stage) has been sent in the post on the 17th March, so I rushed home from work .. to NOTHING!!! I called them back and then realised the 17th March was Saturday, which I was then told by Welcome that it could be up to 5 days before I receive the letter, I tried to enquire what the decision was, to be told that they could not discuss it with me until I had received the letter, I tried to push it but they were not giving anything out, even to the point of asking was I offered payment!!! NOPE they weren't budging so now I play the WAITING GAME!!!!
I have been waiting 15 weeks in total!!! I will keep you posted!!!0 -
I've had my decision letter in the post today (it is dated 16th March).
It has gone in my favour (almost £5k due back to me!) and I have the acceptance form to send back with my bank details on so that they can send the payment to me via BACS - which they say can take up to 30 days.
I am amazed (and extremely happy!!). I read through all of the posts here about Welcome and I was expecting this to be a real longwinded back and forth process.
I sent my first complaint to them on 3rd March - acknowledgement from them saying they were looking into it on the 9th March and received the final decision today!
Fingers crossed for the rest of you - hope you all get sorted soon!0 -

I received the letter yesterday regarding my PPI claim awarded £157.40!!!! to which it will come off my current car finance loan with them that actually finishes this june!!!! They gave me a breakdown showing I did not have any PPi with the car finance I took out with them but I did have PPi on a loan I took out with them in June 2008 for a personal loan to which I only made 2 payments to them before it was consolidated and PPi was not on the consolidated one!!!! Good luck to everyone and thanks for all your advice.

I'm now utterly confused, apparently they now have all of the relevant information to process my claim despite saying that they had lost my forms last week LOL0

Hi, I had no paperwork at all - I couldn't even find my agreement number. I sent a letter (to the Ruddington office in Nottingham) around 29th January requesting the info from them - they sent a copy of my agreement to me on 3rd February and the statement of account arrived a week or so later.
The loan was taken out in December 2003 and I settled it early on 3rd March 2006.
Coincidentally, I sent off my complaint form on 3rd March this year (exactly 6 years after clearing it).
I didn't enclose any of the paperwork with my form and to be honest, I didn't really go into that much detail with my answers on it either!
