Lloyds TSB - Wrong Refund?

Hi,

I've recently been informed that my premiums will be refunded on my Lloyds loan. I have paid the loan for 3 years and they have offered a refund of £68. This doesn't sound right for making 3 years worth of payments. Has anybody had an issue with the wrong refund being calculated??

On a separate note I also have made a claim against Barclaycard Masterloan who can't find me on there system depsite still having the loan 5 years ago. I thought they were required to keep records for 6 years. can anyone advise?

Thanks

Enclose £10 and give them 40 days to respond.

Ask Lloyds for a breakdown of the calculations, this does not seem a lot for ppi!!. are they resetting the loan and do you know how much the ppi was was on the loan with interest?.
  • Thanks,

I already sent a SAR to Barclaycard in May last year. Initially they wrote to say they couldn't find my details but a month or so later wrote to say that thay had found my information and would be sending it through in due course. Up until now nothing has arrived. I went straight for the jugular after that hoping that the info they had "found" would be available to contest the PPI.

As for Lloyds, i don' believe they are resetting the loan, the letter just states that they will be refunding all the premiums. I've sent a letter requesting a breakdown and querying the value. I was wondering if anyone else had had a similar issue.

If the Lloyds loan is not being reset you need to know why.
